When I conceived entering the self-employed ranks during the pandemic, I wanted to build a business that offered products and services to help individuals and business save more, earn more, and secure more of those hard earnings as you save them, shielded from the tax and inflation traps of traditional retirement savings plans with 1000s the liquidity and access.
I wanted to use my two decades of experience improving and perfecting client services and sales processes to contribute to clear and present areas of opportunity, in particular the hemp industry, to being more formality, good-faith, and honor to large bulk hemp transactions. When I began the Emerald Marketplace, it was in response to reality that too large a number of wholesale transactions never completed, for any combination of a number of reasons; most commonly, bad materials, bad players, and no real sales process that ensures buyers and sellers are properly vetted.
I recognized a chance to assist businesses in keeping more profits in-house by lowering their cost to process card payments by eliminating that swipe fee, and in addition, integrating applications that pair with our payments solutions to help businesses reach more customers, run more efficiently, and to remain compliant.
And then there is the cannabis plant...the 1st passion...
